FAQ

Why might compression not reduce file size?
Already-compressed images may not shrink further. Try a lower quality, or convert PNG to JPEG/WebP for photos. WebP usually beats JPEG at the same visual quality.
Is the original file modified?
Never. Your original stays untouched on disk; we generate a new file alongside it.
Are images uploaded?
No. All compression runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API.
