FAQ

What range syntax does it accept?
Single pages and ranges, separated by commas. "1-3, 5, 7-9" gives you three files: pages 1-3, page 5, and pages 7-9. Whitespace is ignored.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. Split PDF runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. The file never leaves your device.
What if I just want one range?
You'll get a single PDF download named after the input file and the range — for example "report-pages-3-5.pdf". No zip wrapping when there's only one range.
Can I split password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Unlock them first with the Unlock PDF tool (coming soon), then split.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes — 100 MB. The real limit is your browser's available memory.
