FAQ
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. Merge PDF runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. The files never leave your device.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes — 100 MB per file, up to 20 files. The real limit is your browser's available memory.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Unlock them first with the Unlock PDF tool (coming soon), then merge.
Does the merged PDF preserve bookmarks and form fields?
Pages are preserved as-is. Document-level bookmarks and form metadata may not carry over yet — we'll improve this in a future release.
